Jason William Noble Saul was born on April 22nd, 1980, and went missing on August 14th 1997 when he was 17 years old. Jason is a Caucasian male and he has blond hair and blue eyes. Jason is 5’3 and weighs 120 pounds. He has a tattoo of his nickname “Lazy J” on his abdomen and a tattoo of a cross on the web of his hand. He was last seen wearing a black muscle shirt with blue shorts and tire-tread sandals. The image on this post was taken of Jason when he was 10 years old, there are no up to date photos of when he was 17 years old.
Jason and his friend Kenford J. Farley, who was also 17 years old at the time, lived in Bullhead City, Arizona and on August 14th, 1997, Jason and Kenford decided to go and look for crystals in the desert close by. The boys were travelling in their orange 1977 Dodge van through the desert when it got stuck on a remote dirt road. Jason and Kenford both began heading back to the town due to this, and split up after about a mile.
Jason’s last known sighting was at 5:00am in the morning on August 15th. Kenford arrived at a nearby hospital around 6:00am in Bullhead City, but Jason never showed up. An extensive search was made to find Jason but to this day, he has never been heard from again. Jason would now be 38 years old.
I’ve known about this case for a while and I still can’t figure out what could’ve happened Jason. The fact that the only photo available of Jason is of him when he was 10 years old seems odd to me, as he went missing when he was 17 years old, he would’ve changed so much in 7 years. I wonder if Kenford knows anything, and I wonder what made them split up. Also, as the last known sighting of Jason was at 5:00am, and Kenford arrived at hospital at 6:00am, I wonder what they were doing all through that early morning. As there are no times available as to when the boys set off to look for the crystals, or when their van got stuck, or even when they split up,it makes this case very hard to understand. I hope that one day Jason’s family and friends can get closure on what happened to Jason on August 14th, or if he is still alive, he can come home safely.
